The East China (North) Regional Meeting Of The Water Meter Working Committee Of The China Metrology Association Was Successfully Held

The East China (North) regional meeting of the Water Meter Working Committee of the China Metrology Association (hereinafter referred to as the Water Meter Working Committee) was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Participants included Chen Xiang, Executive Vice Chairman of the Water Meter Working Committee, Jiang Fuchun (also serving as the leader of the Northeast China Group), Zheng Wenhu, Yang Yanming, Huang Jian, Zhang Junwei, full-time Deputy Secretaries-General Yan Shaojian and Li Hongwei, Deputy Secretaries-General Dai Xuejun and Zhang Qing, as well as 70 member units and 87 member representatives, with a total of 105 staff members attending the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Yan Shaojian, the full-time Deputy Secretary-General of the Water Meter Working Committee. The discussion focused on the completion of the annual work plan of the Water Meter Working Committee, the introduction of the tenth edition of the brief report on relevant technological trends of smart water meters, the "Technical Standard System for Smart Water Meters" and the annual standard formulation and revision work, the statistics of annual economic and technical indicators in the water meter industry, the research work on the pilot project of "combining two inspections into one" in the water meter industry, and the reading of the "Initiative on Jointly Maintaining High-quality Development of the Water Meter Industry". The meeting recommended Qingdao Jicheng Electronics Co., Ltd. and Maxtor Instrument Co., Ltd. as the recommended list of annual committee observer members.
